MORE ABOUT INTERNATIONAL LEGAL CAREERS SYMPOSIUM

Georgetown University Law Center, The George Washington University Law, and American University Washington College of Law will hold the second annual  International Legal Careers Symposium from 9:00-3:45 EST November 17-19, 2021. This Symposium is designed for LL.M. students and recent LL.M. graduates at GW Law, AUWCL, and Georgetown Law who are interested in careers in international law, specifically public interest careers at international organizations, governments, and NGOs. We created this event to provide students with essential information regarding postgraduate legal opportunities in Washington, D.C., and beyond.

Panelists work at The United Nations, The World Bank, The Organization of American States, non-profits, and Embassies. The participants will discuss tips and tricks to getting a job in international law. Additionally, the Washington Foreign Law Society will present a panel on the Importance of Networking for an International Legal Career.
